That video made me realize just how much money I’m leaving on the table with the amount of views I get per month… but even after reading this article, I don’t fully understand how I could optimize my video’s (about 98% video game replays) to make more than they currently do.
April 27, 2017 at 7:00 am If you use YouTube to entertain (perhaps with funny vlogs or opinion pieces) or provide information (like instructional videos, industry-specific advice, recipes or useful life tips), you could be in the perfect position to sell a book that your audience is interested in.
The first step to making money with YouTube is to sign up for an account. If you have a Gmail account, or use any products that require a Google account, you already have an account to use that you just need to link to YouTube via the YouTube account page. Once your YouTube account is up and running, your next step is to link to an AdSense account. AdSense is the primary advertising engine Google uses on its own sites and partner sites, including YouTube. When you create your AdSense account, you will need to input payment information and provide tax reporting information such as a social security number or employee ID number (EIN) for your business. Promoting other people’s products is cool and all, but nothing is better than creating your own. It can often be daunting to think about developing something yourself, but it’s actually pretty simple.
April 1, 2016 at 6:25 pm tomlgfouremom …so with that logic, you’re saying that roughly ONLY 319 people in the US have become rich by messing with youtube in some way? You really are a certain kind of special aren’t you. The top 1000 hell maybe even 10,000 or more youtube account holders are what most people would consider rich in some part due to youtube…so please tell me where you get your low standards from. Don’t believe BS that people tell you, especially when it’s negative, if someone says it can’t be done, it only means it can’t be done in THEIR mind, doesn’t mean it’s impossible, or even close to impossible. If you love something, go for it, jump, and maybe you might land on the other side…regardless if you do or not, there’s no loss. You either die doing what you loved for most of your life, or you died rich doing what you love….so screw the negativity!
My first step would be to make sure to monetize the channel with AdSense and you’ll start seeing the money come in.

so what does that tell you? This is when you get something ranked on the first page of the search engines, optimize it to get there. Lots of people talk about how they quit their day job and became full-time YouTubers. These stories can be very compelling. After all, who wouldn’t want to turn their passion into a bonafide career? While becoming a professional YouTuber is the ultimate dream, it does require a bit of a reality check. Just for reference, you make about $1,000 per one million views on YouTube. So unless your videos are getting millions of views in a short period of time, every time, you might want to keep your day job and also explore YouTube monetization routes that don’t rely on views only.

No wonder so many prominent channels make these sorts of videos.
